Wild Babies - Cuckoos

Working with Humblebee Films and Sally Cryer, I filmed cuckoos parasitising reed warbler nests and the subsequent rearing of the cuckoos.

For much of the filming I was working with remote cameras, namely motion controlled heads, motorised sliders, macro and prime lenses. This was combined with CN20 long lens work for details and birds in flight, alongside gimbal work. Primarily this was all filmed on RED Gemini.
